Keeping up with the Joneses is never a problem for singer-comedian-impressionist Larry G. Jones. As the Man of 1002 Voices, Jones chooses to keep up instead with the Nicholsons, the Sinatras, the Eastwoods, and the Dangerfields-impersonating some of the biggest celebrities of the past 60 years.
One of Las Vegas' best-kept secrets, the Alabama native takes audiences on a trip down memory lane, accompanied by his remarkable two-tone hair and equally impressive vocal range.
The fast-moving show features about 70 impressions - everyone from George Michael, to Johnny Cash, to George W. Bush, to Bill Cosby to Cher gets the Jones treatment.
It never seems to matter whether the subject of his impersonation is male or female, high or low voice, all over the tabloids or a one-hit wonder from the '70s. Jones channels all his subjects with sensitivity and a sense of humor.
It's guaranteed you won't find some of Jones' impressions anywhere in town. Leo Sayer might not have been on the charts for more than 20 years, but Jones recaptures his memorable falsetto. Same goes for the Big Bopper, Gordon Lightfoot and Harry Chapin.
